1. Avoid multiple fittings: The easiest way to reduce the wastage of electricity is by not using too much of lightings in any room. Choose bulbs which serve the purpose of room and its atmosphere. 10. Use natural Lights: Natural lights in rooms like kitchen would save lot of electricity. When buying the house or renovating the house make sure to position the rooms and spaces where the family spend the most of time to be in the north or northeast so that the rooms will be able to capture the daylight.

11. Turn the lights off: This is an old idea of saving electricity. But the key to save the unnecessary wastage of power.
