Simple organizing tricks will keep most of the things at its place and enjoy your day. Let see how?
1. Nook storage: Create the easy nook storage under the staircase or window seat with deep drawers to keep the extra curtains, cushions and other items safely and neatly.
2. Mail box: Place a card board box to keep all the bills for the month, letters, notices, kids notes from school, etc. This helps to check these items at a place and easy to access.
3. Envelope file storage behind the doors: Glue the plastic envelope files on the back of the cupboard doors, cabinet doors to important papers. Use it in kitchen to keep the recipes and grocery list instead of the drawers.
4. Under the sink: Maximize the space under the sink by adding stackable storage bins and drawers to make the most of the open space. Use stackable cabinet with sliding drawers for easy access of regularly used products.
5. Assign each family member a color: For items like toothbrush, towels, blankets etc – things that is used in day to day life- assign a color for each member making it easy for everyone to find their stuff easily and more importantly be responsible for keep it back in its place.
6. Everyday product: Assign a place for everyday product like jewellery, perfumes, make up products, toys, books, newspaper, magazine and ensure that every member of the family ensure to use and keep it back at its place. This would ensure small product mess free.
7. Clothes storage: No one likes to spend time looking for the lost pair of socks. Ensure to wash the clothes regularly. Fold and keep back the dried clothes back in their place neatly. Assign the cupboard for each family member and divide the cupboard into different parts to keep ties, underwear, socks, shirts, pants so that it is easy to take out the clothes whenever required. Hang the shirts, pants and accessories neatly folded based on the color.
8. Craft supplies organizing: Set up a craft storage area to keep all the craft items neatly. Make sure the craft supplies are arranged according to its size, use, material, etc.
9. Book storage: Make the bookcases functional and pleasing to the eye by sorting the books by height, color for less clutter.
